About Us

Blyth Property Developments is a Trade Name of Vaughan & Blyth Ltd, a well established developer/contractor in Colchester and the surrounding area. We are a family run business with over 60 years experience in house building. Our workforce prides itself on its flexibility in delivering a wide variety of projects.

Our homes are individual, they are not mass produced. Every location is different and we ensure that our homes are designed to reflect their surroundings, emulating vernacular styles, colours and treatments to blend in and enhance there surroundings. The only feature which is standard in all of our development is the quality - not only of the design, but also of the materials used, the spacious and well planned interiors, the attention to detail and the quality products employed in the creation of every home.

We have an internal architectural department and are able to offer a full design and build service for all types of projects. They are carried out by the same workforce that we use for our own development sites, ensuring that the projects run smoothly and sensitively, and are carried out to a strict programme, agreed with the client and delivered on budget
